The Kansas City Chiefs have announced the “Chiefs Champions Tour” to celebrate their Super Bowl LVII victory. This marks the first time in franchise history that the Chiefs are hosting a tour specifically dedicated to celebrating one of their Super Bowl victories.
Chiefs President Mark Donovan expressed excitement about the tour, mentioning that due to the global pandemic in 2020, they were unable to celebrate properly with Chiefs Kingdom after their Super Bowl LIV victory. The tour is seen as an opportunity to engage with fans and give them a chance to celebrate with the team.
The Chiefs Champions Tour is described as a mobile brand experience that will visit communities in the Chiefs’ six-state “home” region. The tour will feature the club’s Super Bowl LVII Lombardi Trophy as the main attraction at every event. Additionally, there may be additional assets and activities such as the “Kingdom Cruiser” bus, appearances by Chiefs Cheerleaders, the Rumble drumline, and mascot KC Wolf.
The tour has already started unofficially with trips to the White House and a Chiefs Night at Kauffman Stadium with the Kansas City Royals. The official tour will begin with its first stop in Omaha, Nebraska, at the Omaha Baseball Village at The Old Mattress Factory. The tour will then continue to various cities in the Midwest.
