The Southeastern Conference has announced kickoff times and television designations for seven games to be played on Saturday, October 10th, the third week of football action across the 14-school footprint.
Five of the seven games have times and networks locked in, with two games behind the six-day selection option, meaning that CBS is waiting until Monday, October 5th to decide on whether to air Florida at Texas A&M or Tennessee at Georgia in its 2:30 window. Whichever game CBS does not choose will go to ESPN, for that network’s 11 AM kickoff slot.
The SEC Network will play a tripleheader of conference action, with South Carolina at Vanderbilt at 11 AM, followed by Arkansas at Auburn at 3 PM. In the network’s prime time game, Mississippi State will play in the Bluegrass State against the Kentucky Wildcats.
The Missouri Tigers challenging stretch to open the season sends Eliah Drinkwitz’s squad southward to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for a meeting with the defending national champion LSU Tigers. That game will kick at 8 o’clock in the evening on ESPN and KTTN FM 92.3, an affiliate of the Tiger Radio Network. Pregame on the Tiger Network hits the air at 6 o’clock.
In the SEC on ESPN late afternoon time slot, Alabama travels westward to Oxford, Mississippi to take on the Ole Miss Rebels in a 5 o’clock kickoff.
