Albany is hosting its 36th Annual Benefit Golf Classic and inviting community members to participate. The event will kick off with a Patron Party on June 29 at 6 p.m., held at the home of Rick and Serena Naylor. The Patron Party will feature live music by Phil Vandel, a hosted bar, and delicious BBQ. During the party, a live auction will take place at the Naylor’s residence, and a virtual silent auction will be open throughout the week.
The Golf Classic itself will take place on June 30, starting at 9:30 a.m., at the Albany Golf Course. The event will conclude with a nineteenth hole celebration.
The proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will be directed towards renovating the cafeteria of Mosaic Medical Center in Albany. The goal is to create a more welcoming environment for patients, visitors, caregivers, and the community as a whole. The renovation will include enclosed seating to provide privacy for individuals seeking a short break from their caregiving responsibilities or receiving care.
