Trenton native Charlie Hoffman and Missouri Valley College transfer Seth Gladbach have signed their national letter of intent to compete on the NCMC golf team this spring.
Hoffman, a THS graduate who has been with the program since the fall in a walk-on capacity, has been rewarded for his efforts and leadership on the team. “With Charlie, you know you’re going to get his best effort each day. He works as hard as anyone in the gym and has really prepared himself for a great season. In addition to his leadership, I’m expecting some good results to come from his preparation,” remarked Coach Craig Sager.
Gladbach, a graduate of Brookfield High School, comes in this semester to help bolster the lineup of talent. Originally committed to Missouri Valley College, Gladbach’s decision to transfer to NCMC will add more local talent to a solid roster.
“Seth is a good athlete that will be able to utilize his length off the tee to get around the course. Once we get him into our system, his short-game and course management will improve and he’ll be competitive. We were fortunate to pick up such a solid, local player,” commented Sager.
